REGIME DIGGA
Names the kind of market you are in, and how much to believe it.
A trend filter that answers yes or no throws away everything worth knowing. A market can be trending hard, trending weakly, coiled and quiet, violent and going nowhere, or simply drifting — five situations that call for five responses, and one green light cannot tell them apart.
The state most filters cannot express is Conflict: price above a rising EMA while DI has already crossed the other way. A filter that only checks price against the EMA reports a healthy uptrend and lets you buy into a turn. This one shows you the disagreement.
The engine comes from GOLD DIGGA PRO ULTRA, where it decides which trades are allowed to fire at all. The metals settings carry across as they were tuned; the crypto, index and forex settings are reasoned starting points that have not been backtested, and the tooltips say so.
What you get
- Six states — Trend Up, Trend Down, Squeeze, Volatile, Chop, and Conflict
- A score from −100 to +100 — sign is direction, size is conviction
- Direction read three ways, scaled by trend strength, so one loud reading cannot drown two quiet ones
- Volatility on its own axis, so a coiled squeeze is told apart from a whipsaw
- The full verdict on two higher timeframes, in a status table
- Chart tinted by conviction, not just direction
- Six alerts, on state changes, trend turns, squeezes and the score crossing zero
